Glamping with Llamas: A Family Farm Stay in the Heart of Dordogne
Wake Up with Llamas: Why Families Love Our Farm Glamping Experience in France
Ever dreamed of sleeping under the stars, waking up to a chorus of chickens, and having your morning coffee with a llama? Welcome to The Llama Farm France, where glamping meets a kid-friendly farm adventure in the rolling hills of the Dordogne.
Glamping That Feels Like Home (But with Llamas & Donkeys)
Our fully furnished Belle tents—the Nomad Belle, the Banana Belle and the Wild Belles—are more than just a place to sleep. Each cozy tent is outfitted with a comfy double bed and two singles, soft cotton linens, and fluffy towels. Solar lights provide a magical glow at night, perfect for bedtime stories or a quiet moment of stargazing.
Traveling with three kids? No problem—we’ll add an air mattress, so no one’s left out of the llama bonding.
The Farm Life Kids Dream About
Children (and let’s be honest, adults too) love the chance to get hands-on with our animals. Feed our friendly llamas, donkeys, goats, and chickens, or collect eggs in the morning. There’s no schedule—just come when you’re curious.
Families tell us it’s one of the few places their kids put down screens willingly—and actually want to wake up early. Miracles happen.
Rustic Comforts with a Dash of Luxury
We’ve taken care of the essentials, so you don’t have to rough it. Our plumbed-in showers and toilets are tucked into a beautifully converted hay barn. The shared farm kitchen has everything you need to whip up family meals, with barbecues, stovetops, and all the utensils you could want.
Need to unwind? Lounge by the swimming pool, soak in the sunset views over the Dordogne and Corrèze countryside, or kick back on the terrace while the kids play farm explorers.
Unplugged, Unrushed, Unforgettable
We don’t run structured activities—because nature does that for us. Guests spend their days taking nature walks, feeding animals, and enjoying the kind of quiet you only find in the countryside.
Nearby, families can paddleboard on leisure lakes, climb through the treetops, or explore medieval villages like Ségur-le-Château and the castles along the Route of Richard the Lionheart.
The Perfect Escape for Curious Kids and Chill-Seeking Parents
Whether you’re looking for glamping with animals, a farm stay in Dordogne, or just want a relaxed family holiday in nature, you’ll find it at The Llama Farm France.
Come for the llamas. Stay for the sunsets, the laughter, and the weirdly therapeutic sound of donkeys braying at dusk.
